Shadow Palms Apartments is located at 6320 N. 63rd Avenue in Phoenix. 63rd Avenue is a secondary north-south street, and the property is situated approximately one-half mile north of Bethany Home Road, a primary east-west thoroughfare running through Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona. The immediate neighborhood can best be described as a lower-middle-income community with a mixture of single-family homes and apartment complexes. Many attractive neighborhood features are nearby. Challenger Middle School and Glendale High School are located within walking distance. A Fry’s Food-anchored neighborhood shopping center is located one mile south-west at the corner of Bethany Home Road and 67th Avenue. Bonsall Park is located within a half- mile at the intersection of Bethany Home Road and 59th Avenue. Downtown Glendale, with its mix of small shops and government offices, is one mile to the northeast.

A major source of nearby employment is Westgate City Center, approximately three miles west of Shadow Palms. Westgate is a new super-regional destination for shopping, entertainment, commercial office, and luxury residential in the western Phoenix metropolitan area. The project is anchored by University of Phoenix Cardinals, home of the Arizona Cardinals NFL team, and Jobing.com Arena, home of the Phoenix Coyotes NHL team. The development will eventually feature approximately eight million square feet of retail space and commercial space.
